Opening of the new Compiègne Figurine Museum on Saturday 23 May 2026

At the heart of the museum, a selection from a ‘Musée de France’ collection comprising some 155,000 pieces is presented through a completely revamped permanent exhibition, enhanced by an original scenography that immerses visitors in the extraordinary world of figurines.
Across six themed areas, visitors are invited to explore the history, uses, techniques and imagination inspired by figurines. Individual figurines or those displayed in dioramas, interactive installations and audiovisual content all come together to offer a unique experience accessible to all.

Until 16 August, entry to the Figurine Museum is free for everyone (excluding events and guided tours).
